~ Fiske Of Portsmouth Early 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Pipeback Sword ~

The sword has a gilt lions head brass pommel and guard, copper wire shagreen grip and etched blade with the makers name on the ricasso. Interestingly Fiske traded in the early 19th century from our present shops location.

~ Condition ~

There are a few nicks to the front and back edge of the blade, which has also blackened. The wire binding is still tight.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 95 cm (37.5 inches) in length with a 71 cm (29 inches) blade.
