A resonable Victorian example with a white metal skull, plume holder and white horsehair plume.

The bi-metal helmet plate showes the Thane of Fife on horseback wearing armour under Queen Victoria's crown.

There is an ornate spray and back strap, white metal rosettes, leather backed brass chin scales and brown leather lining.

The leather backing on the chin scales is unstitched and there are several dents to the skull.

A decent example.

The helmet with the plume is 38cm (15 inches) tall, fore of aft 26 cm (10 inches) and 18cm (7 inches) wide.
