Nazi Third Reich K98 Bayonet WW2 from Chatellerault with frog and scabbard

This bayonet was made by The Chatellerault factory in France after the German occupation started in 1940. This one is dated 1942, so a mid war production run. It has a serial No of 2113 and the correct stamps to the pommel. The scabbard is numbered 650 and possibly another number which I cannot see clearly. The frog bears no visible markings. This is one of the rarer makers

*Condition*

In superb condition with a flawless grip and blade, clearly marked uniform minor pitting to metal parts of handle. The button works perfectly. The scabbard is in excellent condition as well with no dents and minor scratches only. The frog has good stitching and rivets with no markings and a patina in keeping with its age. A great example from one of the rarer makers.
