*Excellent, British, RAF Queen Elizabeth 2nd (ERII) Officers Parade Sword and Scabbard, Made by Wilkinson Swords*
Approximate measurements: 81.5cm, 95cm overall
Marked on ricasso: By appointment to her majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sword Cutlers, Wilkinson Sword, London, Made in England. Unmarked scrolls on either side of the Coat of Arms.
On the obverse: Proved mark with foliage and unmarked scrolls on either side of the RAF Eagle and Crown emblem.
This is the current Ministry of Defence regulation Royal Air Force Officers Sword. It features an embossed brass guard with the RAF Eagle and crown and Eagle head pommel. Shagreen grip wrapped in wires. Engraved spear point blade with fuller on both sides.
Leather scabbard, with brass mountings with 2 attachment rings.
*Condition*
Excellent condition. Engraving is clear. There is no serial number. There is some damage to the base of the shagreen grip. The scabbard fits securely. Please see photographs as apart of the condition report.
