The British Pattern 1851 Minié was the first general-issue rifle to see widespread use in battle. Though its service life was short, it proved to be one of the most influential arms in history.

The lock works well with a strong spring on full cock and half-cock.
The musket is missing its ramrod, and there is a patched repair to the forefront of the stock on the left-hand side, etc.
A good wall hanger.

The musket is 124cm (48.5 inches) in total length with an 85cm (33.5 inches) barrel.
