~ Edwardian 9ct Gold Amethyst & Pearl Hinged Bangle ~

A lovely bangle (or bracelet) of 9ct gold set with one large and 8 smaller, round-cut amethysts and 15 pearls.

To the centre of the piece lies the larger of the amethysts, surrounded by 9 of the pearls.

The rest of the amethysts and pearls are mounted alternately along the shoulders of the bangle.

The bangle is rigid and hinged in the middle, with a push clasp and safety chain.

The bracelet is hallmarked for 9ct gold.

~ Condition ~

The bangle in a very nice condition with minimal wear and no damage.

~ Dimensions ~

The larger amethyst measures 1.5 carats

The other amethysts graduate in size from 0.10 carats (3mm diameter) - 0.33 carats (4mm diameter).

The pearls also graduate in size from 3mm diameter – 3.5mm diameter.

The bracelet has an inner circumference of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches).

It weighs 15.7g.
