~ Double Barreled Howdah Percussion Pistol By Horsley Of York ~
The pistol has a brass stud front site, double triggers dolphin hammers, has elaborate engraved scroll work and a fitted ramrod. The gunsmiths name is on the lock-plate. The walnut stock is fitted with a chequered grip.
~ Condition ~
Please refer to the images for condtion. Both hammers work well with a strong spring on full and half cock. The stock is complete with minor wear. The barrels have some pitting.
~ Dimensions ~
The pistol is 29 cm (11 inches) in total length with 14.5 cm (5.75 inch) barrels. The bore is 14 mm (.550") approximately.
