~ Danish Model 1889 Krag Jorgensen Bayonet ~

These bayonets were designed to fit the Danish Model 1889 Krag Jorgensen Infantry Rifle.

All of these I have encountered are German made by either Weyersberg, Kirschbaum, and Cie. (WKC), or Alexander Coppel of Solingen, Germany (as is our case).

These bayonets are well made. The grips are black pressed leather; pommel employs a unique lanyard swivel. Single-edge knife blade.

Scabbards are black leather body with steel throat and drag; unique clip retainer holds the bayonet in the scabbard.

The pommel is serial numbered 36528 on one side and 1C 9R.2557 on the other.
