Serial number "158830" clearly marked on the top of the barrel, frame and the front of the barrel. Marked "Pistol Modell 27, Kal. 7.65" on the left of the receiver and "Bohmische Waffenfabrik A. G. In Prag". Waffenampt mark "waA76" on the right and the Eagle proof mark on the slide. Records indicate that this code was used on P27s 1939-1942. Army guns were WaA76 proofed, Police guns Eagle/K proofed, and Kriegsmarine guns used two variations of Eagle/M proofs. 4" barrel length. Magazine marked P. Mod 27 (the factory did not number magazines).

The M27 is a Czechoslovakian semi-automatic pistol, based on the pistole vz. 24, and chambered for 7.65 mm Browning/.32 ACP. It was designed by Frantisek Myska introduced in 1927 and continued in production until 1951 with almost 700,000 produced. The CZ27 was produced in Strakonice, Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic. The Model 27 was made for police, security guards and commercial sale until German Occupation in 1939. Production continued under German supervision until 1945 with about 450,000 being produced in that time frame.

Occupation pistols were marked BOHMISCHE WAFFENFABRIK A.G. PRAG on the barrel rib and Pistole Modelle 27 Kal. 7.65 on the left side of the slide. Pistols made after 1941, omitted the top rib marking and add "fnh" to the slide marking which was the German identification code for the CZ factory. It is often designated the CZ 27 after the naming scheme used by the Česká Zbrojovka factory for post-World War II commercial products. However, it is correctly known as vz. 27, an abbreviation of the Czech "vzor 27", or "Model 27".pistol.

Condition
This WW2 pistol is in excellent condition. Deactivated to Old Spec it still cocks and fires. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
