~ Colonial Service Martini-Henry Mk I Lever Action Rifle ~

A restoration project for a martini enthusiast, this piece has a good bore and a working action (even if a bit stiff).

The lockplate doesn't bear any marks or stamps. The only mars on the rifle are on the lever and underneath it, on the frame.

~ Condition ~

The steel ring that holds the barrel and the wooden stock together is detached.

The wooden stock has some age marks to it, with chips and nicks all over it.

The barrel is pitted at the slock level all around.

Overall is a nice display piece.
