This antique early to mid-19th century flower encrusted porcelain potpourri vase is in very good condition.

The design and details are stunning with beautiful lifelike hand painted colours and patterns to the delicate flowers.

The piece is unsigned, like many early Coalbrookdale examples. There is a simple 'X' mark instead.

~ Condition ~

The vase is in superb condition with, unusually very little damage to the flowers. Just 3 of the leaves/petals are chipped overall and this is only to some of the smaller flowers. The larger flowers are all intact. This type of damage is expected on a fragile piece of its age, but this does not detract from the overall look of the item.

~ Dimensions ~

The vase has a diameter of 12.5cm (5 ½ inches) and measures 17cm (6 ¾ inches) across the handles.

It has a height of 21.5cm (8 ½ inches) and weighs 755g.
