A lovely circa early to mid 1930’s Clarice Cliff plate in the ‘Melon’ (or Picasso Fruits) pattern from the ‘Fantasque’ range.

The plate has hand painted abstract fruit forms to the centre and bands of colour to the rim in greens, pinks, blues and yellows.

The plate has the ‘Bizarre by Clarice Cliff’ and ‘Newport Pottery England’ stamps to the underside along with the ‘Fantasque’ mark.

The plate has a diameter of 23cm (9 inches).

It weighs 370g.

~ Condition ~

The plate has a little wear to the paintwork in parts but is otherwise in very nice condition with no damages.

There is some possible over-painting to the blue areas.
