~ Circa 1950's Pelham Puppets Type SS Girl with Waistcoat ~
An interesting example of a Type SS Girl 1950's Pelham Puppet with wooden legs, arms and feet and a metal head and hands. She has checked trousers, red waistcoat and a white shirt.
The waistcoat has sewn yellow crosses and there are different coloured strings.
~ Dimensions ~
The puppet is 12 ½ inches (31.7 cm) in length.
The box is 13 ½ inches (34.3 cm) in length, 4 ½ inches (11.5 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.5 cm) in height.
It weighs 365 g.
~ Condition ~
The girl has aged clothes but they present well.
The girl has a crack along the middle of her face.
There is some loss of paint but the woodwork is very fine.
The box is in poor condition but it seems to be the correct type.
