A lovely small 9ct gold pocket watch which has been converted into a wristwatch.

The watch has a 9ct gold case, a white dial with Arabic numerals, two blued steel hands and a subsidiary seconds dial.

The case is engraved to the reverse with the initials ‘EH’ and the date ‘1916.

The case is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1915 with the makers initials ‘ALD’.

It has a serial no. of ‘69472’.

The inner case is also marked with the same serial no. and is named ‘Dennison Watch Case Co’.

The watch has a manual movement named ‘Elsinore K Best Swiss’.

The watch has been converted to fit a wrist strap with the edition of a bar to the bottom edge.

It is fitted with a modern, wide, black leather strap.

The dial has a diameter of 29mm

The watch case measures 32mm across.

It weighs 45g

The strap has a length of 24.5cm

~ Condition ~

There are a couple of hairline cracks to the dial but otherwise the watch is in a very nice condition with minimal wear.

It is in working order and keeps good time.
