~ Circa 1900 William Moorcroft For James Macintyre Florian Ware Hyacinth Pattern Milk Jug  ~

The stunning jug has tube-lined cobalt blue hyacinth flowers over a white ground. The rim has a solid band with flowers above. The foot and handle are of solid blue as well.

It  bears the MacIntyre of Burslem backstamp and has a registered design number of 388652.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in excellent order, it is free from chips, cracks and restoration. There is general crazing to the glaze.

~ Dimensions ~

The jug is 17 cm (7 inches) tall and has a maximum diameter of 12 cm (4.75 inches).
