This is a wonderful Native American made oval shaped box with its lid made of feather quill, jute and tree bark.

The double walls of the box are of tree bark strips covered with an outer layer decorated with woven feather quill.

The inner margins of the box and lid are made of stitched jute.

The bottom of the box is made of one piece of tree bark.

The lid decorations are shape as three triangles, one above each other.

~ Dimensions ~

The box is 5 ½ inches (14 cm) wide and 3 ½ inches (9 cm) deep and 2.36 inches (6 cm) tall.

It weighs 60 grams.

~ Condition ~

The box is fair for its age.

As seen in the pictures some of the feather quill are missing but the overall condition of the box is good.
