~ Circa 1900 Dresden Miniature Tea Bowl ~
The bowl is decorated with two stripes in repeating pattern; one stripe is dark blue with a golden gilt stripe running down the centre. The other is decorated with a growing pink flower with blue & red fruits. Two gilt stripes run around the inner rim are two gilt stripes.
At the centre of the bowl is a small leaf stamp. The base is stamped with a number “6.”, what appears to be a red number “14”.
~ Dimensions ~
The tea bowl has a height of 1.7 inches (4.2 cm) & a diameter of 2.5 inches (2.3 cm). It weighs 33 g.
~ Condition ~
Some of the gilt decoration has started to wear out. The bowl is not chipped or damaged, and is in an overall good condition.
