~ Circa 1880 Ships Brass Barometer By J Hicks Of London ~

This top quality marine, late Victorian barometer has a steel dial, brass body and a wooden back mount board.

The barometer is engraved 'Compensated' with a serial number of 3784 and also 'J. Hicks, 8, 9 & 10 Hatton Garden London'.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. It is a tidy piece and in good working order. There are a couple of chips to the glass edge.

~ Dimensions ~

The barometer itself is 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) in diameter and weighs just over 1.2 Kg.
