The set is housed in a brass bound case with brass mounts and its original key.

Inside are 2 layers of instruments with the upper section in a wooden, blue velvet lined tray.

The upper tray contains compasses and dividers, the lower case rulers and a protractor.

The blue silk lining to the lid reads Elliot Bros Opticians 101 St. Martins Lane London.

They are high quality pieces and would have been used by a surveyor rather than a draughtsman.

The case is in excellent tidy order.
