~ Circa 1870's Japanese Katana Sword With Korean Guard ~
A very interesting piece, this katana has been paired with a Korean tsuba and civilian grip and a brown leather covered military-style bamboo scabbard.
The blade has been polished quite extensively over the years but the hammon remains visible in some places.
The tip shows an Omaru (large circle) type of hamon. The grains (hada), visible in some places looks like Mocume (wood burl).
The tang is a Fuganata with a kuri-jiri tip.
~ Condition ~
The blade has some signs of activities on it and it remains in good condition with minimal nicks on the blade.
The grip has some age wear on it.

The length of the blade is 69cm. The overall length from the end of the tang to the tip is 89cm. The blade is not signed.
