~ Circa 1830 Doulton And Watts Smaller Sized Nelson Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug ~

A charismatic jug of the immortal hero, Lord Horatio Nelson, modeled in full relief.

The piece is back stamped Doulton & Watts, Lambeth Pottery, London.

This one is the earliest version, Doulton & Watts later became Royal Doulton and this particular type of vase was reissued by them in both 1870 and 1905.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in excellent order, just a few very minor areas of wear to the salt glaze.

The piece is 15.5 cm (6.25 inches) tall by 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) wide by 12.5 cm (5 inches) deep.
