This is the original version of the jug, reissues were produced in 1870 and 1905. It is a half bust of Nelson and has a rope twist handle.

The underside is back-stamped for Doulton & Watts, Lambeth Pottery and London.

~ Condition ~

There is a large chip to the left tip of the bicorn, a further one to the rear side of the base and a fleabite one to the inner rim.

~ Dimensions ~

The jug is 19.5 cm (7.5 inches) tall and 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) across.

It weighs 1.2 Kg.
