~ Circa 1830 9ct Yellow Gold Wax Carnelian Seal Stamp ~
A great wax seal stamp in 9ct yellow gold.
The stamp is of a plain hard orange carnelian stone which is unengraved.
This is set into ornate 9ct gold with a suspension loop to the top so can be hung as a fob/pendant from a watch chain or necklace.
The piece is not hallmarked but has been acid tested for gold.
It dates to around 1830.

The stamp measures 21mm by 18mm. The piece has a height of 30mm. It weighs 11.8g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in lovely condition. The stamp is clean with no wear. There are a couple of minor dents to the gold.
