~ Circa 1810 New Land Pattern British Brown Bess Musket ~
This is a nice example of a Colonial Sepoy issue New Land Pattern British Brown Bess Musket, made around 1810. It features the regulation 39 inch barrel of .75 Cal.,
On the breech can be seen the British Proof marks.
The musket has a dark walnut stock, slight slivers of wood loss to channel ribs.
Good working flintlock mechanism with clean lock face.
Brass furniture with period ramrod.
