~ Circa 1800 Duelling Pistol ~

The pistol has an un-sighted, cylindrical, steel barrel and brass fittings, including the classic pineapple to the trigger guard. The trigger guard is not fitted with a finger rest spur, so it is most likely pre-1805.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images as part of the condition report. The stock is in good order, one chip to the right side by the muzzle. The lock mechanism needs attention, it rests on half cock only and does not release freely, the spring is decent. It comes with a ramrod.

~ Dimensions ~

The pistol is 43 cm (17 inches) in length with a 26.5 cm (10.5 inches) barrel.
