This is an 18th century naval cutlass featuring the notable “figure of eight” knuckle guard. The parts of this sword include: a sheet iron wrapped wooden grip, a straight, single edge blade with a narrow fuller for most of the length, and a sheet iron crossguard, knuckle guard and pommel. This sword is an essential collector’s item.

*Condition*

This sword is in good condition for its age and use. The cutlass is uniformly pitted across all parts with no other significant damage. Please see pictures for more detail.
