~ Circa 1510 Italian Rapier ~

Each side of the blade has three short fullers and are engraved "FID SID CVI SID". The grip is of twirled wire and has an octagonal globular pommel. The guard is quite elaborate being 'S' shaped with a lower, small, basket.

~ Condition ~

The blade is in good order though it does have a few nicks to the edge. The tip is complete.

~ Dimensions ~

The rapier is 105 cm (41.25 inches) in total length with a 89 cm (35 inches) blade.
