~ Chinese Qing Period Or Earlier Nephrite Jade Horse & Monkey Pendant ~
This is a charming nephrite jade pendant carving of a horse.
The rounded pendant depicts a galloping horse, with a monkey holding onto the back & head of the horse. A loop can be attached to the side of the monkeys head.
The piece is opaque brown in colour, getting darker with black specks in areas.
It is Qing period piece, possibly earlier.

The piece has a diameter of 2 inches (5.1 cm) & a depth of 0.6 inches (1.5 cm). It weighs 65 g.
