A large handpainted metal sign from the Charringtons Brewery pub The Locomotive.

We believe this to have come from The Locomotive in Redhill, Surrey. This Charrington's pub was closed in 1981 and subsequently demolished during the redevelopment of Redhill town centre.

The sign shows an image of a locomotive train with the name of the brewery and pub above and below.

This is a one sided sign which had an identical counterpart (also for sale on our site) which would have made up the full sign (Included is an image of the sign in situ as it would have originally been).

~ Dimensions ~

Height – 50 inches

Width – 36 inches

~ Condition ~

The piece shows signs of general wear which include the fading of the image, some areas of rust, a few dings and mounting holes along the edge.

The sign is otherwise in sound and sturdy condition.

Due to the size and weight, collection in person is preferred.
