A lovely cased Sterling silver knife & fork christening set dating to 1910.

Both are engraved ‘M.R.T.’ to the handle.

They are hallmarked for sterling silver, London, 1910 with a makers mark of ‘RS’.

The set comes in a black leatherette hard case with blue silk and velvet lining.

The case is marked for ‘R. Stewart of Glasgow’.

~ Dimensions ~

The pieces both measure 15cm (6 inches) in length.

The cased set weighs 208g.

~ Condition ~

Both have some surface wear, the spoon more so than the fork. The engraving on the spoon is a little worn and there is the tiniest ding to the bowl.

The set still presents well and is in a good overall condition.
