~ Cased Royal Navy Edwardian Captain/Lieutenant Half Uniform ~
This Royal Navy Edwardian uniform set consists of trousers and a jacket. The uniform is laid out in position and has been set into a large frame with a yellow cloth backing. The uniform and trousers are displayed from a left hand side view; they have both been cut in half to display their respective sides.
The epaulettes insignia suggest the rank of Lieutenant however the insignia to the sleeve suggests the rank of captain. The buttons have the Kings crown to it.
~ Dimensions ~
The frame measures approximately 46 ½ inches (118 cm) tall by 25 inches (63.5 cm) wide and approximately 6 ¾ inches (17 cm) deep.
It weighs 17.29 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The uniform has been well preserved inside its frame with no obvious damage. The colours look to remain bright and strong.
The frame is in excellent condition, the base is chipped in places and missing its border to the bottom left.
