~ c1945 Small Port & Starboard Ships Lanterns ~

A pair of small but heavy, mid century brass ships port & starboard lanterns.

 With cylindrical red and blue glass windows and fitted with electric light fittings.

The glass is dated on both lamps, one for 1942, the other for 1944.

Both are marked ‘S&A’ with serial numbers of ‘AP1606 45’, the 45 being the manufacture year date.

~ Dimensions ~

They both have a diameter of 11cm (4 ¼ inches) and a height of 13cm (5 inches).

Together they weigh 2.9 Kg.

~ Condition ~

Both lanterns are in very good order with no damages.

The lights are currently not in working order.

As with all second hand electrical goods, we recommend the purchaser have it electrically tested by a professional before use – we do not offer this service and it is sold on that basis.
