A wonderful circa 1940’s novelty tape measure in the form of a rabbit (or hare).

The piece is made of brass with a mottled green celluloid centre in which the tape measure is housed.

The tail of the rabbit winds the tape back inside.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece has a length of 6.5cm (2 ½ inches) and a height of 5cm (2 inches).

It weighs 24g.

~ Condition ~

The rabbit looks to once have had a gilt finish, most of this has worn over time.

One of the ears appears slightly bent out of shape, it leans to one side but it is not damaged and this is only a cosmetic issue and does not affect the overall look of the item.

The tape is in good vintage condition with no damage and is in full working order.
