An attractive circa 1890 planter by the Staffordshire potter Wardle.

The planter is glazed in earth tones showing stylized flowers on a dark brown ground.

The interior has a yellow/orange glaze.

The base is stamped ‘Wardle, England’ along with the number ‘67’.

~ Dimensions ~

The planter has a diameter of 18cm (7 inches) and a height of 16cm (6 ¼ inches).

It weighs 2.85 Kg

~ Condition ~

There are few small areas of wear to the glaze (see images) and some crazing also.

Overall the planter is in a nice condition with no actual damage.
