~ c1850’s Ridgeway Porcelain High Loop Handle Cup & Saucer ~
A lovely cup and saucer dating to the 1850’s by the Staffordshire potters Ridgeway.
The cup and saucer are of white bone china both with hand painted flowers to the centre. The flowers are framed by a royal blue star form border with gilt detailing.
The cup has a single high loop handle.
Both are marked to the underside ‘2/1380’.
~ Dimensions ~
The cup has a diameter of 9.5cm (3 ¾ inches) and a height of 6cm (2 ⅓ inches).
The saucer has a diameter of 14.5cm (5 ¾ inches).
Together they weigh 280g.
~ Condition ~
Both have a little wear to the decoration but still present well and are both are free from damages.
