A lovely quality large Victorian Staffordshire figurine in the form of a hunter with stag & dog.

The man is portrayed in Greco-Roman style clothing. He has caught a stag and is restraining it by the antlers with one hand whilst holding a knife in the other. The dog stands alongside.

~ Dimensions ~

The figurine has a height of 36cm (14 inches) and a width of 20cm (8 inches).

It weighs 1.42 Kg

~ Condition ~

The piece has some fine cracks along the bottom edge and a larger crack to the back but these are from the firing process and not damage.

There has been some restoration to the neck of the figure but it has been done quite well and doesn’t detract from the overall look of the piece.

The piece overall is in great condition with only minimal age wear but no further damage.
