c1830 William IV Police Truncheon

Here we have a William IV truncheon which dates to 1830’s. The truncheon is of one solid piece and is made of a hardwood. Painted is “W VI R” for “William IV Reign”.

The truncheon is 15 inches (38 cm) long.

The truncheon weighs 295 grams.

~ Condition ~

The truncheon is in very good condition for its age, it has a few scratches and dents and some paint wear.
