~ c1800 Flintlock Duelling Pistol By Barwick Of Norwich ~
The pistol has a steel octagonal, small blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, engraved band at the breech, engraved pointed top-tang, slightly curved bevel-edged lockplate with stepped and pointed tail, swan-necked cock, semi rainproof pan with 'BARWICK' signature below, roller to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt, plain trigger and a brass tipped ramrod.
This pistol was almost certainly retailed by George & Charles Barwick of Norwich, who traded between 1797-1804.

The pistol is 43cm (17 inches) in total length with a 30cm long (12 inches) blade.
