*British, WW2 era, Bowie Knife by J. Nowill & Sons, Sheffield, with Leather Sheath*

11.2cm blade, 22cm overall.

Bowie style knife. Brass cross-piece, antler and metal grip with red, gold and black decoration and aluminium pommel; in leather sheath.

Though difficult to discern - the makers mark is inscribed on the blade, we can see "will" and below that "D. 1700" - indicating that this inscription reads: “J. Nowill & Sons, Sheffield, England, Established A.D. 1700.”

*Condition*
This blade has significant rust, as do the metal parts of the grip. The antler section of the grip is slightly loose. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
