Marked: "1936 PR 11 VIII & Sub-Cal I II LA"

Shell case from ammunition of naval 2 pounder pom-pom gun.

This shell case is the 2-pounder No.1, employed in the British naval "Pom Pom" anti-aircraft gun. In good condition, dated 1936 with a British broad arrow stamp on the base. The “2 pr II” and “VIII” refer to the most common versions of the gun in RN service.
