*British, WW1, Ypres Battlefield, British Army Time and Percussion Fuse*

The N°80 time and percussion fuze was commonly paired with British shrapnel shells fired from the renowned 18-pounder field guns during World War I. Originally designed by the German company Krupp in 1905, it was produced under license in England both before and during the war. Vickers Armament Industries, a British company, manufactured these fuzes from 1914 to 1918, and they had to pay Krupp £40,000 in royalties for the privilege.
