HMS K4 was a British K-class submarine built by Vickers, Barrow-in-Furness. Laid down on 28 June 1915, she was commissioned on 1 January 1917.

In January 1917, K4 ran aground on Walney Island but was refloated undamaged the next day. In November 1917, she collided with K1 off the Danish coast, forcing K1 to be scuttled after its crew was rescued.

K4 was lost on 31 January 1918 during the Battle of May Island exercises. While avoiding K3, she was struck by K6 and K7, sinking with all hands. Her wreck is protected under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986.
