The 1827 pattern features a steel Gothic hilt with the Volunteer Rifles bugle motif.  The blade the decoration comprises finely etched royal crown, Victoria Royal cypher, Volunteer Rifles bugle and surrounding foliage.  The blade is approximately 32 inches (37 overall) with a 19.5 inch fuller from the ricasso.

~Condition~

This sword is in great condition with some loss of finish to the blade and light pitting. The hilt has some patches of rust. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
