*British, Relic, 1859 Pattern Cutlass Bayonet for Enfield .577*

Approximate measurements, 65cm blade, 79cm overall

This is a naval cutlass bayonet designed to fit the Enfield 1858 pattern rifle which was a .577 calibre rifle, used by the British Army. It has an un-fullered blade length of 650mm with 1 edge and the grips are made from diced leather. When attached to a rifle, it would give a distance of roughly 2.25m (7ft) between the soldier wielding it and the end of the bayonet.

*Condition*
This is a rare cutlass, so even in relic condition it is very collectable. Please refer to the images for the condition.
