This classic railway oil hand lantern was used on British Railways throughout the steam era until the 1960s and 70s, when electric lanterns became prevalent. The lantern's top rotates to display three colors: white, red, and blue. It is powered by a single wick oil lamp and a reflector inside. The lantern comes complete with all its glass panels, the correct oil vessel, and burner.
