~ British Merryweather Pattern Firemans Officers Helmet ~

The helmet is of silver plated brass with leather backed chinscales held in place with rose bosses. Atop is a tall comb with dragons to either side. To the front is a badge with crossed axes.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. One bolt and one rivet are missing. As is normal, the skull and comb have numerous dents from active use. The liner is worn but near complete. One set of chinscales need restitching to their backin leather.

~ Dimensions ~

The helmet is 33 cm (13 inches) tall.
