This is a Martini Henry Pattern 1876 socket bayonet, officially named the “Bayonet Common Long” and was nicknamed the “Lunger”.  This bayonet is stamped with the manufacture date 4/83, War Department arrow and Enfield inspection marks. The leather and brass scabbard also has  War Department and Enfield inspection marks.

*Condition*

The bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
