3.45in EEC 1937 fired brass case, marked ‘3.45″ II ECC 1937’. Interwar. Dated 1937 on Shell and Primer. Made by Edward Curran & Co. of Bute Docks, Cardiff, Wales. The Ordnance QF 25-pounder, or more simply 25-pounder or 25-pdr, with a calibre of 3.45 inches (87.6 mm), was a piece of field artillery used by British and commonwealth forces in WW2.

Approximate measurements: 4" / 10.2cm base diameter, 29.2cm
