British Indian SMLE MkIII Rifle by Ishapore

This is a great example of the iconic, British SMLE rifle. This particular model was made by the Ishapore Rifle Factory indicated by the GRI symbol in pictures. The rifle also features the DP marking which stands for “Drill Purpose” and therefore would have (eventually) been altered so that it cannot fire. 84920

This rifle is in very good condition for its age. It is clearly comprised of different parts but does have multiple matching numbers. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
