The ricasso has the proof star to one side and the makers name to the other. The etched blade, bearing the Kings cypher, is numbered '2452' to the spine. It comes with its brown leather field scabbard and sword knot. JH Batson was an outfitter based in 94 High St., Erith, London.

~ Condition ~

Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report. The blade is quite tidy - no nicks and very minimal pitting and blackening. The grip is in good order as is the scabbard and knot.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 99 cm (39 inches) in total length with a 83 cm (32.5 inch) blade.
